Olivenhain Municipal Water District (“OMWD”) notified Villanitas HOA residents that the Encinitas Pressure Reducing Stations Replacement Project will require that Wandering Road be closed between Linda Sue Lane and Mountain Vista Drive for the duration of the work. Vehicles, bicycles, e-bikes, delivery trucks and pedestrians that want to access Wandering Road from Mountain Vista Drive will likely be rerouted through Villanitas HOA using Dunsmore Court to Linda Sue Lane to access Wandering Road. It is highly probable that individuals who know how to navigate through our neighborhood streets will use Jolina Way as an alternate route, with Tzena Way and Valleda Lane as the connector to Wandering Road. Individuals who are using our streets to gain access to Wandering Road from Mountain Vista Drive will likely use these same streets to return to Mountain Vista Drive from Wandering Road. The Board understands that notifications were distributed to all mailboxes of Villanitas HOA residents on August 8, 2025. This closure is expected to begin on Monday, August 18, 2025. OMWD anticipates this project will conclude by November 30, 2025. The Gardendale Road section of the project has been completed but took longer than expected.
